Magnetic drum

What is a separator suitable for?

    • Suitable for bulk mixtures (non-ferrous metals, plastic granulate, etc.)
    • In cabinet construction, no need to worry about fixing a separate drum
    • It is also suitable for use as protection for other equipment, against metal particles
    • We can customize the diameter, drum length and cabinet dimensions.

Important parts of the separator

High-performance magnets

The magnetic drum is equipped with powerful neodymium or ferrite magnets that effectively separate ferromagnetic materials from various bulk mixtures or products.

Continuous separation

The drum enables a continuous and uninterrupted separation process, ensuring efficient operation without the need to interrupt the material flow.

Durable and robust construction

The magnetic drum has a robust and durable construction that ensures a long service life even in harsh industrial environments such as recycling or mining processes.

Product description

Magnetic drum design

The magnetic drum consists of an outer, stainless steel, rotating casing with a sleeve and a magnetic core fitted with ferrite magnets or very strong neodymium NdFeB magnets. These magnets create the necessary magnetic field on the surface of the drum, thanks to which the metal particles are trapped and carried beyond the drum axis. Here, demagnetisation occurs and the metals fall off spontaneously, unlike non-metallic separated material which falls off before the axis of the magnetic drum.
